Yes — MyGuyAI is free to download and includes 50 starter credits so you can try it out right away. For unlimited access, all personas, and voice conversations, upgrade to Full Crew ($9.99/month) or Platinum ($19.99/month). You can also purchase credit packs if you prefer not to subscribe.
The free plan includes Buddy. Paid plans unlock the full crew: Fixer, Uncle Bob, Professional, Lawyer, Spiritual, Fitness Coach, Bestie, Fashionista, Nanny, Tutor, Rambo, and Raw Mode. Each one is built with a different specialty and personality.
Voice is available on Full Crew and Platinum plans. In any chat, tap the microphone icon to speak. Your guy will listen and talk back. Make sure you've granted microphone permission to the app — you can do this in your phone's Settings if you accidentally denied it.
Account & Billing
Subscriptions are managed through Apple. On your iPhone, go to Settings → [Your Name] → Subscriptions and find MyGuyAI. From there you can upgrade, downgrade, or cancel anytime. Changes take effect at the end of your current billing period.
Any credits you've purchased remain in your account and don't expire. Subscription-based unlimited access ends at the end of your billing period, but purchased credit packs stay on your account indefinitely.
This can happen if the app was closed during the purchase. Open MyGuyAI, go to Settings, and tap Restore Purchases. Your credits should sync within a few seconds. If they don't, email us at support@myguyai.app with your Apple receipt and we'll sort it out fast.
Refunds on in-app purchases are handled by Apple. Visit reportaproblem.apple.com, sign in with your Apple ID, find the purchase, and request a refund. Apple typically processes these within a few days.
Privacy & Safety
Yes. Your conversations are stored securely and are not shared with third parties or used to train AI models without your consent. We take your privacy seriously — read our full Privacy Policy for details.
You can delete your account directly in the app. Go to Settings → Delete Account. This permanently removes your account, conversation history, and all personal data from our servers. This action cannot be undone.
Troubleshooting
Try these steps in order: (1) Force-close and reopen the app. (2) Check your internet connection. (3) Restart your phone. (4) Delete and reinstall the app — your account and credits are saved in the cloud and will restore when you log back in.
Go to your iPhone's Settings → Privacy & Security → Microphone and make sure MyGuyAI is toggled on. If you previously denied microphone access, this is where you re-enable it. Then reopen the app and try voice again.
Go to Settings in the app and tap Restore Purchases. This syncs your subscription status. If personas are still missing after that, email us at support@myguyai.app and we'll fix it immediately.
